On a nightly basis, Nielsen IAG produces online surveys regarding specific TV show episodes in order to measure viewer engagement. Nielsen IAG is looking for Writers that are fully bilingual in Spanish and English to join the part-time evening staff. Writers view TV shows and write questions to measure overall viewer engagement and the effectiveness of product placement. These surveys are posted each night, so all assignments must be completed during a shift.
This is part-time work under demanding deadlines. Writing shifts begin at 7:30 and last approximately 6 hours. Before applying, please consider if late hours are something to which you can commit. Because Nielsen IAG production takes place seven days a week, six weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) evenings will be required each month.
All work is done in Nielsen IAG's Manhattan offices so no telecommuting is possible.
Compensation is $14/hour.

We are seeking bilingual writers who are proficient in both Spanish and English languages as incumbents will watch Spanish-language and English-language programming and then be expected to produce surveys in both languages. Nielsen IAG's editorial style is complex and evolving, thus Writers must possess a flexibility to respond to changes quickly. As Writers work closely with Editors to finalize copy, they need to be receptive to feedback and willing to improve their work on an ongoing basis. Ideal candidates will possess backgrounds in journalism. Also, all writing is done within a database so it is essential to be totally comfortable working with a computer in a paperless environment.
