Nielsen IAG is looking for Writers to join the part-time evening staff. Writers view TV shows on more than two dozen networks and write online surveys that measure overall viewer engagement and the effectiveness of product placement. These surveys are posted on a website each night, so all assignments must be completed during a shift.
We have two Writer shifts on weekdays, 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; both span approximately 4.5 to 5 hours. Saturday (7:30 p.m.) and Sunday (6:30 p.m.) shifts can extend until 2 a.m. Before applying, please consider if late hours are something to which you can commit. Because Nielsen IAG production takes place seven days a week, six weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) evenings will be required each month.
All work is done in Nielsen IAG's Manhattan offices. No telecommuting is possible.
Compensation is $14/hr.

Requirements |
Ideal candidates will possess backgrounds in English or journalism. Nielsen IAG's editorial style is complex and evolving, thus Writers must possess a flexibility to respond to changes quickly. As Writers work closely with Editors to finalize copy, they need to be receptive to feedback and willing to improve their work on an ongoing basis. All writing is done within a database so comfort working in a paperless environment is essential.
